Russian History was not my prime choice for the first semester at college. However, that is where I learned about Campus Crusade and was invited to join a Bible study. We met weekly to talk about finding God’s will. I treasured the time we spent sharing our hopes and dreams and challenging each other to fulfill God’s plan for our lives.
Also, for the first time I was shown how (and given opportunity) to share my faith with others. After graduating, I volunteered to lead a Bible study at Greenville Tech. It has truly been a privilege to mentor other young women and see God work in their hearts. Fulltime Christian service has been my dream for many years. As circumstances were lining up, and other believers were encouraging us — I began really praying about it and seeking guidance from the Word. Throughout the process, God has confirmed my passion for this work. I count it an awesome blessing to pursue the God-given desire of my heart.
